"Great little cafe in Chiang Klan Sub-district. Great Khoa Soi (even made a vegetarian version for me), papaya salad and a yummy breakfast menu. Beautiful Thai Milk Tea and coffee. Lovely couple who run the cafe!"
"This place was on point for dinner. We both had the Massaman Curry with tofu and rice and Rywin Cafe stepped up. The food was great, the owner is a character and the restaurant itself was nice. To note, we waited almost an hour for our food to come which is pretty ridiculous. We sat down seconds after another group did who got their order in before us. Luckily the food was delicious and the owner apologized profously but an hour long wait is pretty stupid."
"We stumbled across this little cafe on our first day, which was very close to our hotel (Shangri-la). It's run by a lovely family (mum cooks, father makes the drinks, daughter makes the waffles). Service can be slow if crowded, as there's only one cook. But the food more than makes up for it. Everything we tried was really delicious! But the star of the show is the mango stick rice. One of the best we've ever tried! We ended up eating here 3 times during our short stay in Chiang Mai. The owner of the cafe (R) was really friendly and lovely to chat with. His command of the English language is pretty good so it was fun chatting with him. If you're looking for authentic Thai food, and really amazing mango stick rice, head to Rywin cafe! High recommended! Bonus: They open before 9am, so you can head there for breakfast. Their full menu is available for breakfast as well."
"Very nice and clean restaurant with excellent food and service. The family running it were very welcoming. We ordered the khao soi, masaman curry and mango sticky rice. The khao soi was very good but the masaman was really exceptional and one of the best we’ve had in Chiang Mai. The mango sticky rice was also exceptionally good. The only issue is that everything is somewhat more pricy than many others serving the same foods. But again, when the food is this good, it’s worth it!"
"We found this gem via Google "restaurants near me" and found out the great reviews are well-deserved. It's a small mom& pop cafe featuring excellent coffee and home-made Thai food. Moo was our host and server while his wife made the food. We both chose Khao soi, a regional dish specialty in northern Thailand and were happy with our choice. It was very delicious! Overall, it's a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with great food at a decent price."
"Terrific little cafe!! Highly recommend coming here. I have had 7 mango sticky rices in Thailand so far and this one was the best I have had in my entire life. The caramel macchiato was perfect, not too sweet. And the peach soda was fizzy and refreshing. If you are in the area, please come in and support this small business. Our waiter was so sweet and accommodating!"
"This place!!! I came by on a walk one day and ended up eating luch here almost every day after that for a month. Their Khao Soi is to die for, not chicken on the bone, just the white meat and they adjust spice to your liking. The spring rolls are another favorite. I recommend this place to everyone I know and I can't wait to be back myself. This is my first stop out of the airport!! The owners are the sweetest elderly couple, they cook everything themselves and will go out of their way to help you. 12/10 will always recommend! Khop khun kaa"
"A family run cafe and restaurant with the kindest hospitality. More people need to support places like this. They really pride themselves on providing quality food and enjoying a meaningful meal that isn’t rushed."
